Once approved , How many Advance Parole documents do we get from VSC ?. My friend has received 3 original documents - all of them are the same document .

The approved Advanced Parole form is called I-512 and usually three copies of them are given. One copy for the applicant, one copy for the USCIS at the port of entry and one for the airline(so that they let you board the plane with out other valid visa.) First time you travel, you give the appropriate copies to airline and USCIS, and USCIS will stamp your copy. Subsequent times, you can just show your copy and travel.

I have always got 2 copies. One went to the attorney, one to me or both to the Attorney. This is based on my experience with 3 APs over the past 3 years.
I have always carried only one copy and have had that stamped over and over again for multiple times I traveled.

I know these questions have been asked before , But I still do not have a clear answer ..

If one has a valid H1 and a valid AP , what should be use to re enter the country ?? ( H1 Vs EAD/AP )

Also , If my spouse is on H4 but has recently gotten a job using her EAD what should she use ( H4 Vs EAD / AP )

--- if have valid visa stamp better use H1
Also , If my spouse is on H4 but has recently gotten a job using her EAD what should she use ( H4 Vs EAD / AP )
---- if she wants to be on H4 then she uses H4 visa stamp if wants to be on APS pending and intend to work after entry then she should use AP
*** if the primary remain on H1 status it is better

# of originals does not matter.

I received 2 originals and lost one of them.

Used the remaining original to enter US thro' SFO last week.
The original was stamped and returned..no issues.
