Mr. Rajiv
This is a kind of unique situation to which I need to find a resolution. I am currently on F1 visa and was about to graduate by Dec 2006. Due to some issues with my total credits in my college, I might have to take one more course in Spring '07 to graduate.
But, I have already applied for OPT and might get my EAD by end of Dec (to coincide with my graduation).
Now I have spoken to my International student advisor and they have informed my that I can register and complete my masters in Spring 07 while being on OPT and also working fulltime.
The only issue, which my international student advisor wasnt sure about is that, my employer will be filing my H1B under the 65000 quota as I dont yet have a Masters degree, but, since I am already on OPT, and expected to have a US degree, it could create a problem.
So, what do you think : will this be a problem and is there any resolution to this that you see?
Thanks
Mirza
