OPT HELP! major goofup!!

OK! I have a hugee situation! Luckily, I filed my OPT very early however, my payment did NOT go through and I did not realize this at the time. Therefore, it was not processed and I have to file a new opt! I do not grauduate for 2 more weeks and I am going to reapply tomorrow so I am still within the time limit. However, will they deny me an OPT because of this???

i am sooo scared... has anyone experienced this with ANY work permit before???

Well the deadline to apply for OPT now is until 60 days AFTER you graduate, so technically I can apply until September 10. I was just hoping that since I applied and it said that my 'application can not be processed due to innsufficient funds' that does not mean I am banned from applying again!!! my international student center had nooo idea. they THINK i will be fine, but have never encountered this problem before. therefore, i am going to FREAKKK out!!!! EEEKKK! although, it is not a big deal job wise bc clearly i am unemployed:(
 
I guess you are worrying too much. I personally know of goof-ups done by 3 of my class-mates this year, and I also did one (wrong address, and my OPT card got returned). But, USCIS was very helpful, none among 4 guys had any problem. Everyone got their OPT card after goof-up. Atleast in our experience, USCIS exists to make sure people are following processes etc. and not to make people's life hell.

So, I wont lose sleep over this; this is a non-issue.
