OPT expires shortly and H-1 is yet to be apr=

Hello all,

My OPT expires in a few days and H-1 is still in processing.

There was an RFE on my H-1 application and replied with all the requested documents a month ago.

Am I eligible to continue working after my OPT expiration as I have an EAC # and my application is in process.

Please advise.

If you think your previous H1 taking for ever, you can apply for another H1 with new employer in Premi. processing. If you need help send me your complete resume with contacts details to kapa400@yahoo.com
 
As long as the H-1B quota was still available as of the date of filing your H-1B case- you should be fine.
