OPt expires on May'31 2005,recently got job,have an i-20 for new program,which status

I am on OPT (F-1 visa),my OPT expires on May’31 2005, so I applied for PhD program to maintain my F-1 status and got admission also, my school has issued I-20 for the fall sem. Now I recently got job with company A and company A has just applied for my H1-B visa, and company said it will take 30-40 days to approve my H1-B, What about my F-1 status as I have already I-20 for Doctoral program. Will there be any problem if I hold I-20 and My Company has applied for my H-1 B visa?

Can I start working once my H1-B approval notice comes? But current quota for H1-B is valid from Oct. 2005? Or some of them fall in this year quota? can I continue working after my OPT gets expired on may’31-2005 or I need to wait till Oct. 2005?

I just got another offer from company B; can I file my H1-B with company B also at the same time when company A files my H1B? Can I hold two H-1B visas even though if I am just working for one company not the both? What about my F-1 status as I have already I-20 for Doctoral program. Will there be any problem if I hold I-20 and My Company has applied for my H-1 B visa?

No. Everybody does that.

You will be able to start working in October, as far as I know. So, stay in F-1 status until then. You cannot continue working after the end of OPT.

All your other H1B questions should be directed in H1 subforum, people there may be more knowledgeable about the details of work visas.
