OPT 90 days unemployment question.

HI,

this is just for information.
if anybody was unemployed for 90 days on opt, will it effect on for H1 approval or OPT extension or both.

i have one more doubt, if i got employed within the 90 day duration suppose on 60th day got employment and after two months the project expired and i will be again unemployed.

so what is the rule in this condition.


please help me.

No. There is actually no requirement to work on OPT once you are inside the US. When you travel they might ask questions, but otherwise you are fine (so its a problem for the visa, but not the status).
 
You may no longer just stay in the US on OPT. You have only 90 days of unemployment in the first year and no more than 120 days in OPt + OPT extension. You are likely to have US immigration problems forever as you must update your employment information with your school. They will be appy to explain the program requirements to you.
