Oppose Processing Fee Increase For Various Application

do you really believe premium processing will happen

Do you really believe that premium processing will happen?

See the case of H1 processing. There is premium processing charge of $1000. But do you get premium processing. Probably in day dream!!

I am ready to pay thousands of dollar if USCIS is ready to approve my application today.

Wake up.

It is not premium processing but as said by USCIS, it will increase performance, efficiency in case processing and backgroung checks etc.
Second, it will eliminate AP/EAD fee, thats great for guy like me as I am paying for 6 members. Third, to maximize the profit, the USCIS will process the case faster fashion. Fourth, it is good sign for new filers.
USCIS has to justify after fee increase. There is no door open for remedy for "Delayed Cases", it is better to pay more upfront, otherwise be ready to be a part of backloged cases and pay more for getting renewals.
I have no reason to oppose it. (PS: It is purely my opinion).

Try to oposse somthing where there are even bleak chances of working

I wont join the heard which opose somthign which is bound to get implemented. First see the problem, read the original USCIS proposal and find the reason they are giving and then think legibley whether opposing it would work or not.

IN MY OPINION IT WOULD NOT.

SO WHY WASTE TIME.

Is premium processing = to performance?

Isn't premium processing equal to performance, efficiency. You are paying premium processing fee to get the H1 quick!! In actual it happens or not is a question mark.
Also do you think USCIS will meet their words? USCIS promised that most the application will be processed in 6 months, in a support to some legislation passed by president. And their record reflect their promise. But you and I know well that the I485 processing date reflected on USCIS processing time is an eyewash and a plain LIE. In a similar fashion USCIS will come up with funny way to certify their work and prove that their efficiency is best in the world. They would say that they are efficient.

Also I would say, I am ready to pay one time thousands of fee, if USCIS is ready to approve my application today or in a month. No lip service but need result on the ground.
Oppose the fee increase. You make your decision, I can't force you but one thing I will tell you USCIS efficiency will never increase.

That is accountability, check & balance. Indeed, we have no control over it or beyond our control.
We only do is "Good Faith Trust". Rest is in the hand of those who responsible to prove and implement it. Goodluck guys. Lets see what comes out. We have to wait & see behind closed doors.

How does this proposed change apply to people whose I-485 is already pending?

w.r.t. yearly EAD and AP renewal

5. Eliminating Perceptions of Impediments to Efficiency
This proposed rule would restructure certain fee arrangements that are currently perceived to provide disincentives for USCIS to improve efficiency in processing. For example, USCIS has long authorized certain customers, particularly applicants for adjustment of status, to apply for certain benefits while the initial application is pending, referred to generally as ``interim benefits.'' These include, most importantly, employment authorization and permission to travel abroad and return to the United States to pursue the pending application. In the current fee structure, USCIS charges additional fees for interim benefits in addition to initial application fees. Thus, the longer cases take to adjudicate, the more total revenue is collected. This creates the perception that USCIS gains by processing cases slowly.

If USCIS is unable to process the base application within the established processing goals, the applicant will not pay separate fees for interim benefits, no matter how long the case remains pending.

I don't oppose the fee raise as such, but it must come with a gurantee of better efficiency and more information related to long pending cases. Also they need to implement their own background checks. FBI's namecheck is fundamentally flawed and just doesn't scale.

To me the fee increase is just a gimmick and I'm one who is very much inclined NOT to fall for it. I know that these fee increases are pretty much goin to be made the rule and there is very little that someone can do to stop it. One should be utterly naive to think, that there would be efficiency and faster processing b'cos of this fee increase. No way Baby !! The way they portray things such as these to the congressional branches/subcommitees is very sophisticated. The morons in USCIS are portraying to Congress and other executive branch that they are within 6 months processing time for I485s and everyone knows how farfetched of a lie this is, but again how the USCIS escapes from being questioned on this by quoting retro mess and other things.

If USCIS really want to move things, they can .... We all know how these so called USCIS officers/adjudicators keep yapping/bragging/chatting about useless things during their work hours....All they need to do is have much more transparency and hold officers responsible for not moving a file within a time frame. One can only wish.... But they would never change ......
