Online EAD online approval sufficient for employment?

My EAD application has been approved, but the card hasn't been sent yet.

Does anyone know whether I have to have my EAD card to begin a job, or would the online approval notice be sufficient?

Are you concurrent filing?

First, Congratulates on your EAD approval.
Second, Could you tell me you concurrrently filed your I-140 and
I-485, or you filed you I-485 and EAD after your I-140 got approval.
Because I concurrently filed my case in TSC on Apr/25th/03.
Greatly appreciate your answer.

If there is an approval date in the online message, the card will reflect the start date... Just take a printout and appraise employer about the approval... You should be fine.

Thank you for your help.
I miraculously got the EAD card the day before I was supposed to begin work, so it all worked out.
