Hi Guys,
did my monthly routine check of the online case status, and saw that our applications (me, wife, daughter) have been approved as of 10/22/04 !!!!! :)

Anxiously awaiting the approval letters, but what's next ? What exactly does the approval notice contain, an interview date ? What are the next steps ?
Cheers,
Pete

Next Steps?

Celebrate, go buy a bottle of Dom Perignon and breathe a sigh of relief.

Next make an infopass appointment to get your passport stamped and green card ordered.

Celebrate again.

Feel numb - after the torturous hell BCIS has put you through the last "X" years and it's like a deafening silence.

Get over that and Celebrate again.

Wait 4 yrs and 9 mos and apply for your citizenship

Celebrate again.

After receiving the courtesy copy, make an Infopass appointment at your local USCIS. Take PP photos, previous/present EAD, AP. Get your PP stamped. Wait for the card to arrive. And that's about it!

Cool, thanks, guys ! I guess that means no interview, yeee-haw !!!

We already have a celebration planned, since Friday my wife and I have our 7th anniversary (the wait for GC felt longer).

Cheers,

Pete

Pete ... you are no good!

You do not seem to belong to the community here. Almost all (if not all) members here visit the online status atleast once a day ... if not more! While you are checking your status after a MONTH!!!

Just kidding! Relax and have fun ... just make the infopass appointment at some point, that's it. And congrats on your 7 years too!!!

Congratulations! Let's drink champagne to celebrate your getting green card and your anniversary. Cheers!!! Please invite us to your party. heh. (just kidding). Congratulations!!

Thanks, guys !
I'll post up again once I actually hold the plastic cards in my hand, and you're all invited to join me for a few drinks then ! :)

Just swing by my little hometown of Las Vegas, NV. :)

Congrats! Get drunk and feel the freedom. My experience at Philadelphia office was really smooth. I walked in with no appointment and was out of the office in less than 1 hr. All they will do is take your approval notice and I 94's and stamp your passport. Spent less than 2 minutes at the counter with the officer.
