Hello.

i would like to know if there is any problem for someone he never worked since he arrived to the states? i mean it will affect him getting his citizenship ??? and if there's no problem do u think the IO will ask how i am supporting myself ??? and do u think will ask for living documents? such as, bank statments, something like that? Plus. how about taxes ? if someone doesnt have a job he still will be asked for Tax papers? Oh i have joint Tax return with my spouse shows that my spouse pays taxes/. should i send the past 3 years ? because my name there.

Thanks alot,

Employment is not a requirement for naturalization. However, expect to be asked how you support yourself as well as be asked for evidence such as receipts and/or tax returns.

Thank you.

You should expect to asked to show evidence of how you supported yourself. For example, if you lived off savings, then bank statements showing your savings would be evidence. If you spouse or family supported you, then you would provide proof of payments they made to you.

My spouse paying for everything, and we have bank account, Joint tax return. and there's some bills in our names. is this will work ?

Yes, show joint bills, rent/mortgage etc.. to show that your spouse is supporting you.

Just mention that you are a home maker.

For interview carry your spouse's W2, and joint tax return.
