One check sent for Both I485 application for MOM and dad

Probably. Applications are processed separately.
If it becomes a problem both applications will be returned.

Each applicant needs to have some kind of payment, I hope your package don't get returned, but if so you'll know what to do. Good Luck

As long as you get 2 sets of NOA's you should be good.
