Hello,

Today morning i called DC, after 40 minutes wait.. spoke to nice lady. She took my pp# and gave good news that my visa visa was approved and waiting for printing and can take upto 2 weeks.. Updating my details..

Its really nice to see so many approvals within few days and a big jump in the processing dates as well.

Hi Guys:

Got our passports back and our visas have been denied. I applied for myself, wife and my kid together.

The letter says they need personal interviews (!)

Oh, we are from Special Registration Country....

Advice for : SPL REGISTRATION COUNTRY citizens -- do not apply...

We had all the paperworks in order icluding I 94 and H1/H4 extensions, never been out of status ...

Able to track passport

Guys,
I do see tracking information for my package. Called Fedex to ask if I could pick it up today ( Sat) as it has reached and was told that it is still in big container.

I will update you when I get it in my hands on Monday

I have a US prioroty mail return envolope without tracker. From the way things are going I should have mine in a few days. Will update as soon as I receive the pp.
 
My Co. sent my papers to St Louis for visa revalidation in the end of September or first week of Oct 2003. I was told by Co. to check Vermont Processing Center for the latest status on

This site says Aug. 27th for H1B- Specialty Occupation- Extension of stay in the US. The approval received dates shown on this thread do not match with the info on this site. Please help me understand all this. I am confused.

VISA revalidation should not be sent to vermont USCIS Service center. Visa revalidation is done by state dept in st. Louis / Washington DC.

Are you sure you are talking about visa revalidation and not H-1B petition ? both are different things.

It appears i'm utterly ignorant. Let me explain my situation. MY H1B expired on 30 Sept. 2003. My company sent the necessary papers around the same time. Please tell me if a new H1B petition has to be made for extension of visa. Also please explain the meaning of dates on this thread and the website:
