What is process like to get the i-EAD?

Raghu,

What is the process to get the i-EAD?
What are the documents we should carry with us?
Is the 90-day rule to get the i-EAD is from Receipt date or Notice date?
I am waiting for my EAD and also my H1B expires in March \'02,
Do you suggest I should go and get i-EAD.
Can you please share your thoughts on the above questions?

Yeah, this time it looks like I am in good shape, hope it can keep going on as this way till the case gets approved.
 
SJK, Sorry I was out of town... FP done at Sacramento

Did my FP on 01/15/02 scheduled on 1/29. For other Sac guys INS office will be moved to another place from 1/29. SJK if you need more info send me mail at phillysunny@yahoo.com for faster response..
 
Next AVM message??

After the FP is cleared, what\'s the next message for AVM? The AVM said:"FP has been received and case is resumed...Till decision makes" Does it mean it is the last message before approved?
 
I think most of the people i this got AP approved.So now we need to wait for

EAD\'s according to new JIT report.Did anyone in this got EAD approved???
 
Yes They Will give the Card Immediately and U need not pay anything.

Actually....I am from Sanata Ana , So got the I-EAd from santa ana.....I do not know about Sanjose INS office....For me they didnt gave me any problem at the INS office....Yaah u definetely have to take u r EAD Receipt notice.

Go to u r INS Office and get it.

You should have u r EAD Receipt Notice...and that is all u need(I took with me a copy of all my Ead,485 paper work that I have filed with INS , 485 Receipt Notice , Passport.)All they need to see is u r EAD receipt notice and that is it.90-Day Rule is from the Receipt Date..........You should go and get u r I-EAD , no problem.

AP approved on 12/12/01 for self and spouse. Got the AP approval notice by mail on 1/4/02. I guess I have passed the 90 day mark. Any idea how long it will take for our EAD to come?

I thought mine was quick because it is an age out case, but looks like it is no different from others.

I thought my case was going quick because it is an age out, but looks like it is no different from others.
 
What happens with INS?

I haven\'t seen any new EAD approvals for almost a month. Has INS switched their priorities again?
