October Approvals needed.

I cannot copy files - I do a remote logging to that system. All I can do is copy from it thru emulator(security issues bar copy of file). For your convinience I am attaching it in txt file which you can paste in Excel.

Jharkandi

if the load is distributed among say 2 to 3 ppl then we need assign ourselves the the last 4 digits.like jharkandi will do from 0001 to 0300, ETA GC will do 301 to 600. and so on.THis is just for one day . Usually CIS receives few thousands app ina day ( approm 3000 to 5000 apps)

If i understand it right you are planning to do this every week. why can't you pick a day of the week say saturday/sunday or whatever is convinient.

what about doing it for range of the days like 040001 to 04022 ??

U can send me an PM to avoid preying eyes..

I understand your concern about preying eyes. Don't worry - if we discuss here someone may like to join us.

Let me make it clearer - if people are willing to put in effort and (say) we get one weeks data identifying 140 cases only. I intend to run the scan only on those cases(we all have limits to how many cases we can scan each time.). Added to that if we sample data and limit our scan to 300 in one day, we will be able to publish it everyday. (Typically 70-80 cases are there in a day and that makes it 400 in a week).

I would also propose calling it project hmd/nemessis/ETA-GC, cause each of three did some work in this direction.

Hi Jharkhandi,

I am already scanning I485 by sampling every fifth day and it takes me some time to do that, I don't think I can do more cases (I have 13700 to scan every week and they block the IP after 250-300 rec # now). I usually post the results here:

http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=125115&page=1&pp=15

but last week I was on the West Coast and I couldn't do the scan. We can extend the sampling for 2002 to have an idea of what's going on. I think after all of you get your I140 we should mobilize for I485 to have as many data as posible ...

regards,
nemessis

Here is the list:

nemessis/ETA-GC/hmd can we start a new project to track cases?

Whoever wants any day's stuff to be scanned times and again, please post 140 scan(identify all the cases), do a reasonable sampling(remove approved ones/RFEs, post it and scan result will be presented ASAP(I have limited access to windows machine). No need to find out how good is immigrationwatch. I am planning to do 1 week scan at a time till that week shows 75% is over, if people are willing to put in their effort. Everytime they post it - results will be published.

Sure we will do it in VSC 485 too. In that case we will have two projects Project hmd/nemessis/ETA-GC 140

and

Project hmd/nemessis/ETA-GC 485 (We will use the data from your earlier findings too.)

Let us concentrate on 140 right now as nothing is being done on 485(but we will pick it up soon, once 140 scans starts running.).

I am waiting for inputs from ETA-GC and after that we will get it done on pm.

I think we can name the project as Project140-1 for jharkhandi 2 for nemesis etc.. or we can just have one name. I am not comfortable with name which has handle name.

so i guess u have to collect all the RN for I140 from Eac04001to 007 and then Jharkhandi will/can do the scanning only for those RN's .

My q is how can you scan on selected RN's (which could be around few hundreds)? is there an separate program or did u modify the existing one??

Ok let us have
Project 140 VSC Scan
and
Project 485 VSC Scan

Reasonable enough.

See we need people who would be interested in knowing what is happening around their cases, that is why I propose only those cases will be scanned and published where people do the preliminary scanning and post/pm the results.

Rest we can take offline. hmd and nemessis check your pm please.

Jharkhandi:::

just found that USBCIS website is not allowing our scanning scripts more then 30 rows... hereafter this will be very hard to run the script.

Just performed a random scan for I-140s.... I saw two I-140s of ND Oct 7 and Oct 9 2003 which were approved yesterday (May 24).

This appears to be good news. However, they could be approvals that were given after responses received for RFEs.

Ya -- until we know these didn't have RFE's (or until we start to see lot's of I-140 approvals) we won't be able to conclude much.

Anyone know how long it takes for access to the online USCIS info to be restored after making too many inquiries? I did 300+ queries yesterday around 6pm and I'm still being denied access (more than 24 hours later)...

if you have dynamic IP and not a static IP, go to command prompt type ipconfig /all (it will display your current IP address), type ipconfig/release (it will say it has released), then type ipconfig /renew . Type again (most probably you might have got a new IP).

Also, if you use Dial up, everytime you sign out and sign in , you will get a different IP.

I140 approved ND 10/08/2004

Jharkhandi,
I just checked my profile and last updated date was 5/25/2004 and when I checked my status I jumped from my seat...It was approved.

Application Type: I140 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On May 25, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If

Thanks everyone.

Congrats!

EB2 or EB3?

Was there any RFE in this case?

Did you file an I-485 concurrently?

ETA

It was EB3 no RFE
filed I 140 on 10/08/2003 Approved on 5/25/2004
Filed I 485 on 10/23/2003 freedom date pending
EAd on 10/23/2004 Got interim EAD on 2/2/2004
(EAD status still shows that received application on 10/23/03)
AP 10/23/2003 approved 03/02/2004

Thanks
