Monthly visa issuances for 09/2020 have been released. 7022 visas were issued after judge Mehta order, 20177 total in DV2020 (in theory, but more about that below).

One important thing to note is that those numbers include reissunaces of expired visas. Therefore, some people are counted twice in the total. I'd lean towards ~18245 coming from CEAC scan as an actual number of people that received a visa in DV20, but that we will know only after FY20 yearbook is released.

Yeah the 18245 is very close to the government's numbers from the lawsuit - so I agree that is closer to the truth.
