Good thing to see it on top

Hi Oct 2002 filers,

Just waiting for my turn, for something/ anything. It is becoming a little uncomfortable, specially when you see the movement in case even when people file their 485 and stuff and the get RFE. It is soon going to be 2 years for most of us. Some of got lucky and @ the same time some/ or I should say most of us still in that unsolved mystery of INS/ USCIS I don't care I guess anymore, Just venting out guys. on a good note. ;) Good luck to all of us

2nd FINGERPRINTING NOTICE

All,

I did not get my second FP notice which has expired. 485 PD is Oct 23 2002
The BCIS IIO advised me to go BCIS Harford , CT District office WITHOUT an BCIS NOTICE . He said otheriwise I need to wait my PD becomes current in VSC .I called BCIS Harford , CT District office and they dis not give any proper answer.

Has anyone in this thread for FP done without an appoitmnet or BCIS letter .Please let me know.

Thanks in adavnce.

485 approved

Hi guys I received a courtesy copy of 485 approval today.

VSC/EB2/ ND 10/13/02.

Hang in-there, and I am sure your approvals are also on the way.

Would appreciate response to my questions.

- Do I need the original 485 letter that was sent to the attorney? (The courtesy copy says "this courtesy copy may not be used in lieu of official notification-----)

- My spouse's (dependent) 485 has not been touched

Thanks in advance.

I-551 stamp after approval

I got my I-551 stamped in the passport today.

Things needed to get that done smoothly

1. Infopass appointment.
2. Original approval notice (taken by the Adjudicator)
3. Originals of all Advance Parole and EAD cards (which are also taken back by the Adjudicator)
4. Two front facing photos. Not the usual side facing. (This came into effect Sept 01)

6 months wait for the actual green card.

I-485 ND :10/15/2002
I-485 AD :08/09/2004

After the stamping dont forget to update your I-9 form with your employer.

-- Courtesy copy is sufficient. I did stamping with courtesy copy.

- My spouse's (dependent) 485 has not been touched

- My case was approved on 8/27 and my spouse case was approved on 9/10 even though we filed together. FP2's scheduled dates were differed by 2 weeks - but we did on same date. Hope this helps.

Thanks in advance.
