Both of you got ur FP done so early. Did you guys get a notice automatically or did you do something to get it scheduled - pls let me know.

I have not received any FP notice so far - don't know good or bad...the only change so far I have received the EAD card on 1/28/04. . .

Consider urself as lucky that u have not got FP notice yet... 485 backlog is almost 3 years now and we will have to go for FP again after a year or so.
So chill out and hope that ur FP is delayed so that u dont have to do it over and over

My HR person did not send the finanacial information of the company to the lawyer. The RFE is proof that the company can afford my salary.

I just got my Labor approved after 2 years 10 months of waiting. Please suggest regarding I-140 filing.

option-1 : File I-140 / I-485 / EAD / AP concurrently

option-2 : File I-140 first. And wait for I-140 receipt. File I-485 along with I-140 receipt (semi-concurrent).

Please suggest. Your input is of very good help to me.
 
Hi Vangaru,

There is no need to wait for 140 approval or receipt notice.

Its always advantageous to file 140 and 485 concurrently as the processing of 485 ( which seems to be taking the longest processing time ) depends on 485 receipt date and not on 140 approval date.

Unless you have other reasons, go for concurrent filing.

I would appreciate if other experts can offer advise too.

Interesting to note that Texas moved by 7 days in the last 90 days.
With H1 cap reached, would there be progress now ??

i-140 receipt no

Is there any way to find the i-140 receipt number because my employer would not let me know the number.He didn't even use my checks for application fee.I tried contacting INS .They sent me a reply saying that ,It cannot reveal to me directly.My attorney also wouldn't reveal it either as my employer apparently has some agreement with my Attorney.

Is there any other way I didn't try ,to find the I-140 number .

I am kinda' desperate.

Appreciate any reply.

Buddy you gota talk to your employer seriously coz it looks to me that he hasnt even filed your case there is no way he cant let you know call ins and discuss your case that your emaployer is not disclosing this informtion to you if they really have applied 140 for you they are suppour to send you the whole pacage with all processing detail which they get it from ins.

Will I do this after I get ead/ap? I filed concurrent 140/485, but lawyer doesn't give info on the next steps to take so I can be prepared.
 
140 Filed on Nov 12 2003 got it approved on Apr 08 2004. Its EB3

EAD/AP also got approved after filing on Jan 12 2004.

485 filed on Jan 12 2004. FP waiting

1. When did your EAD got approved?
2. Any RFE on I-140?
3. Any clue why so early. Just curious.
