Wish485,

I have a question regarding FP notice. Does FP notice come to applicant's address or Lawyer? Also please let me know what all documents will it need for FP.

Thanks.

if your filed the packge by the lawyer (which you signed G-28), FP will goes to two palces. FP notice come to applicant's address as applicant's copy. And Lawyer also receive another copy as representative's copy.
That is what I got.

Has EAD,AP,FP, but company may shut down before I - 140 approval

Hi,

I need immediate advice. There are chances that my company may shut down next week.

Texas Service center.
EB2 I-140/I-485 - concurrent filling - Not yet Approved

RD - 10/28/2003,
EAD - Approved in December
AP - Approved in December
FP - done on Jan 6/2004
I- 140 - Pending
I - 485 - Pending

My question is, its been only 90 days since the I-140 and I-485 has been filed. So, in case my company shuts down in a week, what will be my status and what are my options? I have EAD and my H1 has been extended till the end of 2004. So, can I use the EAD to switch jobs even though 180 days period is not over? Or can I wait for the 180 days to get completed(not work until 180 days gets over) and then take up a new job.

Or is it that I don't have any options? Just want to know what are my options here.

Thanks,
vdp

Concurrent filing of I140 and I485

RD 12/15/03
ND 12/17/03
AD ???
EAD ???

When I checked the status of my I140 on the web, it states

"On January 26, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case....."

I don't know if that is good news or bad. The bad news is pretty obvious but the good news part is that they have at least started processing the case instead of sticking it at the bottom of the pile.

Have anybody experienced anything similar? I will get in touch with my lawyer and get the details as to what additional informtaion have they requested for.

Thankx
