The email the reschedule is just a request where you explain the situation. I have drafted an email that explains and have suggested bringing the police check once received to the interview that is currently scheduled if they prefer that.
 
@Britsimon I get where your coming from saying don't reschedule however the email we all received from SYD consulate advised us that if the documents have not been received 30 prior to interview then your interview will be cancelledScreenshot 2025-10-08 110541.png

The dilemma I have is,
1. I make my medical appointment for the 22nd October and have my interview cancelled by the consulate and now I mave a medical expiry from 22 October to use within 6 months at $750.

2. I pesonally am waiting on my Police Check and Fingerprints to comeback from AFP because the requirments have changed for us from an AFP name check to name check and fingerprints which can only be done via postal mail and take 15-20 days (they recieved my mail request by post 07/10)

3. SYS have emailed us all say they acknoledge that there had been an error with providing times however no one is getting a response from SYD stating if we can physically bring in our documents on the day of interview.
 
I've confirmed my appointment & noted we won't have the fingerprints 30 days prior. Syd responded that 20 days will be ok & to send a receipt for the fingerprint check with the other documents.

Damn I just hit send on my request to reschedule - let’s hope they give me the same response! When is your interview scheduled for? Are you waiting to receive the official 2NL from KCC prior to sending?
 
We're on the 18th. It'll take a few days for us all to get the fingerprints done so KCC have a few days to get the 2NL sorted. Otherwise I'll just send the email we all got from them that noted the interview date.

Ok sounds good- mine is the 19th so hopefully they respond. How long did they take to respond to you today?
 
Hi all, thanks for creating this forum and providing input - exciting to see appointment times confirmed!

Question: Would be great to hear from people who have confirmed interviews re what lottery numbers they have?

Trying to get a sense of how the OC consulates might be getting through lower lottery numbers (as someone who as a higher one) Thank you!

My number is 000009XX
 
Just confirmed my appointment time for the 10th NOV. Also for the person asking my number is OC5XX. I attached a note to my confirmation explaining my AFP check would most probably be sent to me on the 25th October (thereabouts). I also asked if I could send it separately or if I could provide on the day of interview. I also asked if this was not possible to do, should I reschedule. I’ll await a response.

I’m wondering if I should reply and confirm my appointment (I already sent request to reschedule) and ask them to see earlier email re situation….

Not a surprise - and I would expect even more flexibility. They just changed the process without notice - it would be odd to enforce the new rule hard and fast.

Hey @Britsimon what do you think about the request to send original documents ahead of time too - we're a family of 4 & I'm very uncomfortable sending original birth, marriage certificates etc through the post?
