Oath Letter Tracker for December 2009 Interviews

Please post your status here to track Oath Letter receipt dates if you interviewed in December 2009. Thanks. :)
 
Interview was on Dec15th and was approved! I was given an Oath date of Dec 21st but I could not keep that date as I will be out of town. The officer took back the oath letter and said something will be sent out in the mail for a later date :'(

Congratulations!! What a great way to end the year/decade!:)

I probably will have my oath on Jan6th 2010. Dec17th was the last oath day here in the Charlotte DO. Apparently when my wife had her interview, the IO kinda hinted/told her that the first OD next year would most likely be on Jan6th.

So, in my case, hopefully it would be a great way to begin the new year/decade:)

Join the thread. Passed interview on Dec 14. I was told that the Oath will be on January or February, so can't do anything now except wait. :eek:

Voda,
You know...... all you have to do is write a letter asking for the OL, put it in the stocking and hang it by the fireplace. Uncle 'Sam'ta will come in through the fireplace exactly at 12 midnight on Dec25 and give you just that. That'd be the best ever gift for Xmas:D

Drink some eggnog, chill out and be "happy" dude. There are bunch of others who are in a much awful shape than us the 'OL' seekers:D.

Got a pleasant surprise in the mail today. I was not expecting my OL to arrive for another two weeks (give the backlog in Chicago), but it is here with an OD of 1/14/2010.

Maybe I could get it as a new year gift :D

My wife's interview is on Jan 4th. So I'm not so eager to get the OL. I'd prefer to have the same OD with my wife - at least I could save a trip to Milwaukee.

For some reason I always read your name as Happy Yoda (and visualized you as the green Yoda from Star Wars :) but a happy one)

Now that I read your name right, maybe I'll remember you as Happy Vod(k)a :) Nevertheless Happy

I hope 2010 is a Happy and memorable year for you and family with common oath ceremony. Anyway, Happy New Year.

Even I always pictured you as a green Yoda. I always expected you to say something like "dress up will I for Halloween next"...:D

You should actually try dressing up as a green Jedi for the Oath Ceremony (with a green light sabre and all):D. That'd be so cool and you'd be treated special that day:p
