NY Drivers License Renewal while temporally out of US?

I thought that I can renew DL as USC online while being out of US for 3 months visiting relatives. But now I see that I can't do this unless I provide DMV with form MV-619 Eye test report.

Is it possible that I could perform this test in nearest US embassy?

Or is there any other way that I can renew my DL while being abroad?
