Hello,

My daugther came to USA as a derivative of my asylum. She now is over the 21 years old and in order to apply for the USA residency, we filled out an Asylum Application for her based in my case. We emailed the form to the Asymul Office in Virginia (Arlington) on May 2006 but unfortunately we still have not received any answer from them. We went there three times to ask the reason why we are not getting any aswer and the person there told us that we need to wait as there are many people in the same situation as my daugther.
We are not sure if we can download the nun-proc-application form from a web site, if someone knows this, we really appreciate it this information.

We also are thinking to file my daughter US Residency application and wait for the inmigration' answer. If it possible or do we have to wait for an answer from the Arlington Asylum Office?

Thank so much in advance.

A worry father..

There is no special nunc pro tunc form. You use the regular asylum application form for this purpose.

Yes you can apply for residency first.

Is your daughter married? If not chances are she does NOT need to apply nunc pro tunc. When did she come to the United States?

Thank you.

Thank you for your answer. She came to USA six months before go onto the 21 years, and she is not married. I filled out the Asylum form (based on the mine) but not answer yet. Last time we went to the asylum office in Arlington a "lady" (no too much nice lady) told us, the person on charge of that kind of petitions was moved to another location..maybe my form is still on a desktop or perhaps it was to to trash...We are going to apply for her USA Residency without this paper and we will see what happen.
Again, thank you.
