NSEERS for Canadian Citizen

I just recently acquired my Canadian citizenship, by acquiring it I automatically lose my previous citizenship since my previous country doesn't recognize dual citizenship.
The problem is that I was registered with NSEERS on my old passport, now that I'm a Canadian should I still be subjected to NSEERS? Is there any way to have it removed? I get contradicting experience from the border guards.
I went to US 2 times since I get my Canadian passport, both times I was pulled aside.
- At YVR I was questioned, and later released without having fingerprinted and picture taken, the officer just stamped on my passport.
- At Pt Roberts I was questioned, finger printed, picture taken and was told that the officer can't do anything, since he have to do it. So I had to do the usual register at designated port that I'm leaving US before actually going out of the US.
I felt like a criminal without actually being one, simply just because I was born in the country that was on the list.
I don't even feel accepted in my country of birth, hence I decided to get my Canadian citizenship where I felt more welcomed.
Any info on how I should proceed in having this discrimination removed from my record?
TIA.

That is so wrong though, no one can choose where he/she was born and even now if I go back to my previous country to visit, I need a visa to get in.

Not to sound curt, but if you dislike the process, you do have a choice. Do not visit the US.

I've been avoiding US like a plague, I don't go there unless it's absolutely necessary (Eg for business trip) which I have no control of.
I'm just trying to find the way out if I can get out of this discriminating rules.
