RFE at NSC

Does anyone knows about the time it takes for the lawyer to recieve the RFE.
Mine was issued on may 1. when should my lawyer get it. Once INS gets reply to RFE how much time they take to make a decision.

MY case had sent it it for security check .
what does it mean?what do they check?
with whom they check?
i dont know what they r doing with my case.
is it a regular one after 9/11?
please give some information on this.

Hello My dear friends,

First of all, I would like to extend my warmmest congratulations to Ciscowala, Mothkuri and others for their recent approvals. I would also like to thank everyone in this forum for all your post and support eventhough I have not been active.

Per my last post I quit posting and checking for my case due to various changes in processing and other issues. This entire process is taking a toll in my life and I refuse to let it consume me.

But on Saturday, with no apparent reason, I decided to call the AVM and the after I punched my LIN number in, the recording said my case has been approved. I cannot believe it!. I entered my number 3 more times just to make sure.

I\'m so glad I\'m in the final lap now. For those who are still waiting, keep your heads up high. DO NOT let this process consume your life. Live life and just be patient, sure it might takes a bit more time. My case was about the same time as our friend SSuresh during DOL and due to RFEs and other delays , now I\'m like 3 months behind him. BUT, one day it will be my turn to shine and it will be yours too. God Bless!.

Morethan 100 days

My case is still pending, its morethan 100 days since INS received reply for RFE(PGDCA Transcripts). Does anyone have any idea what happening with my case ?

This is good news. Congratulations. Can you please tell me what exactly was the RFE for. My case is that my original company did MBO (Management Buy Out) of our division. So my labor cert was approved with the original company and the my lawyer attached Successor in Interest documentation with it. I am still waiting for the exact reason from the INS but i suspect that they may say that they need to see financial ability of my new employer to pay my wage.
Can you please tell the detail reason fo your RFE and how you fixed it. Also is 4/10/02 the date when INS recieved your RFE or it is the date when you sent your RFE.

Hello,

My RFE requested for one or any combination of the followings :-
1.Audited P&L statement
2.Company Tax return for 2000
3.Company W2 Statement
4.Bank Statements

The instructions are not quite clear on which is needed but higlighted Tax return as the first item required. Hence, we sent in everything plus a letter except for bank statement. I really dunno why they need those info, my guess (it\'s only a guess) is for ability to pay.

04/10/02 is the date that INS received RFE from my lawyer.

I also recieved the exact same RFE (my company\'s ability to pay) on 5/1/02. Can you please tell me what your lawyer did. Do they (INS) wanted exact documents (Company tax returns, bank statements etc.) or they just wanted some kinda proof that company can pay wage. What did your lawyer do.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
