NSC - EAD under name check ??? and over 150 days

Hi All,

I need your thoughts and inputs here ..

This is my 4th ead (paper based) renewal which i applied in the first week of Feb 2008 and 2 weeks later applied for AP. I see that my I-140 (approved in 04) has and LUD of dec 07 and I-485 of feb 08. Also noticed that my 765 and I-131 both has an LUD of April 2008 and since then no updates..

I found out from my local congressmen that my EAD is under name check.. i am not sure how and why EAD renewal could go also under namecheck and the response of the expedite serivice request was that i have to wait another 6 months (sounds crazy). I have take an infopass appointment for this week - not sure if i will get one or not..

My current EAD is about to expire next week and i am not sure what else i could do here other than losing my job.. does any one has any advice for me..

The USCIS may request name check for any application including the EAD which may delay things and I saw many threads here for people with delayed EAD up to year or so.
The InfoPass may offer you some help since the officer will send an email to the center asking for expedite response
You can not work with expired EAD and if you do, you are violating immigration law and may expose your pending I485 to adverse effects (The reciept of the EAD you have has nothing to do and can not be use as a document to work).
Send a fax to the center where your application is pending asking to issue the card on humanitarian base since you will be out of job, insurance ...etc this may help too.
 
Very disappointed..
Today i went for infopass appointment which is now almost of no help.. she heard my story and nodded hapless... though she took a note to send an email to NSC - not sure if this will help..

Considering my priority date to be Aug 2003, does the LUD's on all my applications and pending EAD/AP click any thing ? does it imply that EB3 cases my be past aug 03 by Aug/Sept (next visa bulletin date )...

Any updates on your case? It has been 90 days for me and I've not heard anything.
 
Guys pls keep this thread alive .. and keep updating...
It's been 65 days for me and no updates on my EAD case..
