RFE is about the photo (not the photo ID).
Intially sent side pose photos. INS asked to send the front pose photos for EAD and AP.
 
Any August filers waiting for EAD approval?

My 2nd EAD ND is 08/20/04. I did not receive the approval yet.

Any one waiting for EAD around same date ?

I gave the old side face style pictures, i dint get any RFE's. Hope it wouldnt be a problem at the POE

Why on Earth did they ask for them when you applied 25 days before they were implemented?
 
Never know how they work. Sometimes they may consider the photo when they send the card. Finally online updated for EAD/AP approvals has dispatched from center on 11/2/04.
 
Our AP's Approved after RFE response..

What a relief now..all our EAD's and AP's are approved. I just wanted to share this with you all..RFE's are for Photo ID
 
Hi Jambalakadi.
I got the same RFE for EAD & AP requesting color copy of photo-ID.

I just copied and mailed only the first page of my passport and the VISA page.
I was looking at your previous post mentioning that you made a color copy of all pages of passport. Is that necessary to take a color copy of all pages of passport?

My Attorney requested me to send color copies of all pages of passport slightly enlarged. I dont know if it is necessary or not. please check with others also

You need to provide all the pages from the passport, does not matter whether the pages are empty or used.

Congrats -- the photo stuff is the prime reason for RFE for EAD/AP. I wonder why the attorneys are not careful about it.
 
I did not send color copies and I did not get any RFE. Anyway I asked my lawyer before I got approved, He said need color copies only if the copies of passport are not clear enough.

hmhmhm How come i did not send any photo ID, no drivers lisense, only the passport in black n white same size on a shitty home xerox machine.

I want an RFE too goddamnit :mad:

I sent all pages of passport in Black & white while applying initially.
Now after I got the RFE I sent only the color copy of the first page of passport and my Visa page.

I guess that should be enough. I have sent only black and white copies and no RFE. It depends on the officer. Normally people used to send color copies of all the pages or the entry pages
 
EAD valid only for a year !

Received in mail: 11/6/04

Wondering if me or my lawyer would receive my AP ?
