Yes. If your Lawyer filed AP on your behalf, he would receive it.
You would get the EAD and your lawyer would get your AP dosuments.
 
A# mismatch on 140 & 485 receipt notices

Today I recd. a copy of 140 receipt notice from my attorney.
I noticed that though the LIN numbers are matching for duplicate receipt notices received with new dates, the A# does not match both for me & my wife.

Here are the details:

I140, I485 & I765 [ RD 9/30, ND 10/5 ] A#1
I140, I485 & I765 [ RD 10/15, ND 10/22 ] A#2
received a 3rd notice for I765 [ RD 10/15, ND 10/22 ] A#2


Do you think i need to call customer service # or follow-up with attorney?

----------------- your A# has to be same on I-485 filing reciept EAD and AP or FP notice

Your wife will have diffrent A# and that should be SAME on her I-485, EAD and AP , FP
If you find problems with A# then Contact your lawyer and he should write to service center. NCSC 1-800 is of no use

I have informed my attorney about the multiple A# and receipt notices.
BTW, I have received FP notices with the first set of A#s for self & wife.
I hope they don't send the FP notices again with new A#'s.

One of my friend got it ND was some time first or second week, am not sure
 
I think you need to wait for another a week or two. They are approving as received as of 1st week of Sep 2004

Do you still have valid H1b.
Even if you apply for duplicate ones -- might take some time.
Otherwise you can have someone posted it for you -- if your are taking a long vacation.

If you talkin abt Ap, no i dont have a valid H1. IM going tomorrow to chicago to try for an emergency advance parole. I got a fax from india stating the condition of my dad. also i got my tickets.Well if they dont consider this an emergency, i got no clue what they would consider an emergency as

Yes - they might consider this as emergency.
Good luck at chicago -- lets know about Ur experience out there.
I think it would be easier for them to give an AP if you can produce the photo-copy of the AP you already have.
 
Got Emergency AP from Chicago Local Office !!!!

Like i posted before, i lost all 3 original copies of my AP right before Thanksgiving and have to travel Dec 6th. Well all i could do was go to the local USCIS center which i did Monday 29th. No infopass no appointment nothing.
Well the security at the entrance let me go in, said it was an emergency as i did i not receive my AP though approved. Right when i went in there was 2 lines, one with appointments n one without. So waited while ppl with appointments went through n then my turn.
The sec i said Emergency Ap she was like reason n proof, well i dint have any so she showed me the door !.
Today i went there with an Infopass appointment, had every fricken document possible. First thing they ask wat the emergency was n proof.
Well the letter wat i had from the doctor was pretty good which stated my dad's condition well but she was like ok he is really sick but it doesnt smean that you need to jump on a flight n go. i was like WTF ? Took me 5 mins to regain my composure as i was abt to tell her that she aint makin any sense, but then im the one whose goona loose. she said if you can get another letter sayin that u need to be there , it would be good n she looked through the other docs. So i went back got a fax from india n went back. This time she asked for passport to see wat my inital entry was F1. then i gave her H1B approval with I 94, EAD, Passport, ! 485 Receipt. Finally i got it

I was the only one who got approved this whole week is what she said. Everyone just gets rejected in a matter of minutes when u say Advance Parole is what i observed. Well the officer wsa nice enough to give me a clue on what the hell to write on the doc's certificate n when i came bak i knew i was through. Man i dint deserve this shit, i was retarded enough to throw my originals in the recycle. Well u need super confidence, paperwork, patience n need to explain your shit well. Easy but not easy !!

Plus i got a multiple AP valid for a year !!!
