I have been tracking the cases in my company for the last 3 months
We have around 30 approvals (all of them with in 6 to 7 weeks). Also got around 15 RFEs. All these RFE cases were not updated until 8 to 10 weeks.
Bottom line, if your case is approved with in 7 weeks you are fine if not smell some thing is wrong.
That may not be true, it took me 63 days. I got approved today. I think sometimes the INS officers take vacations during easter period. It can throw the cases/dates off by a day or two. Hang in there you should be fine.
am planning to apply for greencard through labor certification. is RIR proven to be the fastest way of doing it? a friend of mine says it doesn\'t really matter if labor cert. is done traditionally or RIR. but of course, i need to go the fastest way possible...is RIR or otherwise?
Congrats solitaryseeker. Yours was Lin-02-098-5xxxx. RD 1/30/02 and got approved. Mine is Lin-02-096-5xxx RD 1/28/02. I just checked today. nothing! does it mean a RFE? Does any body know when / how we will know if it is an RFE.
Thanks guys
