Best of luck to everyone. Does anyone know how long it takes for the AVM to get updated ? From Indian_gems case it looks like 2 days. Is it updated in the morning or evening ??

I think AVM is updating sometime in evening. Mine was approved on 23 rd Oct. I checked at 7:45 PM evening. I heard the wonderful message "Approved".

             I was not expecting approval so soon and so did
not check AVM till thursday.It was probably updated the same
day.Anyway good luck to you. NSC is the best and we are lucky
to be able to apply at this center. Dont worry,you will get there
soon.

Good News!!!!!!

I see one guy on this form who applied for I140 on OCT 11th
got his approval on OCT25th. Mine was filed on OCT 16th.
Waiting for mine now..
 
Question

Can one change from AOS (adjustment of status) to CP (consular processing) after I-140 is approved
and before applying to I-485? or I-824. Anybody has some idea on this and how long CP is taking before
you get a letter from consulate in India or any other country?

Yes ! you can do that. A friend of mine just did it and got his GC thru CP.After you got your I140 approved, you should submit 824 form and you will just need the receipt of 824 for CP without waiting for 4-6 months to get it cleared.It also saves your 4-6 weeks of NVC as this won\'t go thru them.

Company Acquired ...

Hi All,
 My company filed for my I-140 at TSC in Sept 2001 and now is acquired by another one which is under NSC. Can i move my case from TSC to NSC? Anyone has any experience please share.

Notice Date : 08/26/2001
