November - Visa Revalidation Tracking

Got passport

Hi...recd my passport today around 10 in the morning. Everything ok. This forum helped me a lot. Thx to all.

i called dc office today and they told my visa is approved and went for printing.can any one say how long does it take for printing .

Actually I called DC Office and their automated system tells that its an emergency off today.

Has anyone else tried to call?
 
But aakarsh you have posted that u called them and they told you that your's is approved and in Print Q.

Was it today or yesterday.
 
Aakarsh,

In my experience the printing takes one day. So if they said yours was approved today. Tomorrow it will get picked up and you should get it the day after.
 
Called today

I talked to lady today and she told me that my passport was mailed out on 13th of Feb I am in Los Angeles I still haven’t received it. Any idea what happened

Aakarsh,
I have included FedEx return receipt.
I was trying to track my FedEx tracking number and it would never showup with any info.

I have a doubt is it possible that they might have misplaced the return receipt or might have sent my packet to wrong address?
 
thanks prasad for the information.why is this happening only to me ,my flight tickets r booked for tomorrow and my visa has just been approved yestrday.
 
aakarsh,

I think your case won't be delayed anymore if they printed the visa on your passport before afternoon yesterday as it goes to outgoing mail section.

But for all other cases, it may be get delayed few more days as they are doing thorough tests in that facility. Also process will be definitely slow as they fear to open the covers.

I tried to call them yesterday and they said they are not giving any information over the phone. I will try again today in the afternoon.

Hope you will get your passport intime. My tickets are also booked for next week and I have no time even to with draw my application.
