Incase if an employer revokes I-140 , ,INS sends "Notice of Intent to deny". This notice of Intent to deny is for I-485 or for I-140? What status should get updated online - I-140 or I-485?

Thanks

NOID will come if I-140 has been approved. If I-140 is not approved they will reject I-140 directly and Denai the I-485. There will no NOID. NOID is issued for only I-485.

Can they issue NOID even if 180 days passed since 485 is filed and 140 is approved?

why cany you post your actual situation so that we understand your correct situation or problem?? if you post you will get many answers to your post
when the I-140 was filed, RD
when the I-140 was approved
when you filed I-485, RD
Did you changed employer? if yes when?

I have a very peculiar case in which the RFE on I-140 is sent after > 365 days of approval of I-140. I have changed the employer after > 365 days of filing 485 and 140 approval.

As Tammy said that Notice of Intent to Deny can be sent for I-485. Can you guys suggest me what can be the reason that the online status has changed for I-140 and says that an "RFE" has been sent. I have not yet received the RFE.

-----Online may be wrong also, if it is RFE for I-485 then your lawyer who filed I-485 will get RFE, If it is for I-140 that was approved then the I-140 RFE will go to Employer /lawyer who filed I-140 becase I-140 belongs to employer.

** I have seen RFE or Intent to Deny for Approved I-140 in that case I-140 was approved for CP and the person left the employer after I-140 filing and filed I-485 with I-140 filing reciept in that case USCIS is supposed to ask the I-140 and file from NVC or consulate I dont know what happended to that case, it was in 2003 Jan/Feb,

The RFE for I140 will be sent to Employer/lawyer if you haven't changed lawyer. It could be that your previous employer sent notice to INS so INS
wants more info. Perhaps you should send INS AC21 letter.
