Non-profit to Profit Clarification

I am on OPT, which expired on this September end. And my H1-B visa starts on August, which is under a non-profit organization A. If i am interested in a profit Company B,

* Can i transfer my H1-B visa. If so, would it be subject to the quota availability?

* Since my OPT expires in September end, Can i join the profit company B on OPT now, and do a premium processing? If so, what happens to my original H1-B visa from Organization A.

On further reading, i must have been misunderstood.

Can one withdraw on a completed application? Meaning, my application has already been processed and approved and i also got the paper on the same effect.

well u were able to get a start day of Aug with A because it is non-profit and not subject to quots.

If you jon co. B then remeber it will be subject to quota hence start date cannot be before Oct 1, 2004. You can join them on OPT but get the H1 status only after Oct 1.

The period btw the OPT expiry and Oct 1 is important as you should not work during those few days.
