Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum. I would like some feedback please. I was granted asylum on August 2004 and I filed for adjustment of status on September 2005 through my attorney. My case was transferred to TSC according to Uscis online case status which I check regularly. I had two sets of finger prints taken, one in November 2005(which shows the update) and then was asked to go to my local ASC again to get my code 1 FP taken in February 2006. I have had no update after submitting my FP in February 2006. Is this normal? I called Uscis and my attorney and they both told me I still need to wait, since other cases prior to mine are being processed. Should I worry or just wait it out? Your responses are highly appreciated. Thanks.

My LUD changed the next day after I did my bio. I am not sure if it's normal or not in your case, but why don't you make an infopass and ask about it. If you are lucky you will find an IO who will tell you if everything is OK with your file. When I went for Infopass, the lady was nice enough to tell me that all my fingerprints and results are in and that I am just waiting for an IO to be assigned to my case.

Also, the last fingerprint you did was for GC production only so even if they don't have it in file, they can ask you to do it after you get approved. It will not stop them from processing your file.

Good luck!

Alot of us from TSC got RFE's so I think everyone is close to approval. I was able to get a bio appointment by emailing and asking about my case.

Urgent And Time Sensitive, Support Senator Obama's Bill On Limiting Fbi's Name Check

Dear All:

Whether your citizenship has finally been approved, your case is pending or you are getting started, you know the need for reform in the stalling process that can take for years. Many of you are already aware of the "Citizenship Promotion Act" introduced by Senator Obama on March 7, 07. This bill limits the increase in the immigration fees, but most importantly delineates time frames for FBI name check, which has a backlog of 300,000 and are reviewing cases "manually". I have started a petition in support of the bill. Please be informed that the bill also supports applicants of permanent residency in their name check process as well. WE ALL NEED TO SIGN IT AND ALSO PASS IT ON TO ALL OF THE FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN ENTANGLED BY THE OVERDUE IMMIGRATION PROCESSES. THE MORE SIGNATURES WE HAVE, THE MORE WE WILL BE ABLE TO OBTAIN ADVOCACY FOR THE BILL BY THE CONGRESSMEN AND SENATORS.

PLEASE SIGN AND PASS FORWARD FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE TO SEE.

I don't know guys, Ive been talking to Immigration Attorney, he told me that he know some real approved cases with 2006 receipts. I've been checking wit LUD another cases for 2003-2004 to see by my eyes that they got messages like this

On April 5, 2005, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done.

I don't want to see the same LUD let s say after couple of years.
It's clearly says that person should expect decision withinh 60 days.
For above case it's been longer than 60 days.
Im just worrying cuz I got the same LUD
