no receipt number in cashed check

I filed H1B transfer application to VSC last month, but I have not yet got the receipt notice. I obtained a copy of cashed check. However no receipt number, such as EACxx-xxx-xxxxx, is found in that check. Is that normal?

There are several other numbers in the check, and I tried in the online case satus but did not work.

when did vsc receive your h1 transfer petition.

mine was received on july 24, but no receipt yet.

Hi, dimpi. VSC received my application in Aug.14, and cashed my check in Aug. 21. Until now, I did not receive the receipt notice.
 
no kidding..look thru a magnifying glass...

Hi stonestone....

I paid thru a m.order and almost waited for a month to get a copy of it from Wesetern Union. U see a million numbers on the back, but I think u must almost see thru a magnifying glass...i'm not joking. I got my recpt no after 20 days,but i still cheked on the m.o, it was there, but very faint and I cud trace it becos by then I already had the EAC #....

I was doubting if a m.order will have an EAC#.. it did have though!!
