No LUD Change for FP code 1 !!!!!

Seems like after finishing my FP code 2 on July,2005 I noticed LUD change but as far I've been going through this forum few people are getting any LUD change after FP code 1. I have a feeling USCIS don't LUD change for code 1. They only do that for RFI/RFE or code 2 etc (as I think).
Now if anyone still notices a LUD change that means obviously someone from USCIS looked through your case. Cause everytime USCIS goes through our files it automatically generates an E-mail what we call LUD which shows a message although that don't mean nothing. It's like a routine message pretty much same for everyone. You know what I think about that LUD message ?? USCIS has two/three formats of messages that are already programmed in their system & anytime anyone from USCIS looks through someone's file it generates asusually either of those programmed formates.
That's the reason we see an applicant who has ND 2000 sometimes receives a LUD saying it will take 850/900 some days than again another one with a ND 2005 receives 570/600 something like that.
I'be been noticing another thing lately applicants who has already finished their RFI (medical & G-325A) also FP code 2 & again FP code 1 them people are getting really close to an approval unless a RFE is issued for more evidence. Some people in this forum ND 2000/2001 had to go through similar experiences & after code 1 within a month/two they are receiving approval letter through E-mail or US mail.
Well, let's hope for the best. Hopefully as I described anyone who has gone through RFI/Code 2/Code 1 please get ready for the party time (especially ND 2000/2001/2002). Good news is at the corner.

Code 1 is mostly an automated thing. The FP's are sent directly to FBI and results are sent back to Nebraska electronically. NOw whenever officer touches the file, then only LUD changes.

Waiting to hear the good news soon !!!!!!!!!!

In early 2004, when the lawsuit was still fresh and brewing. USCIS decided to be nice and update everyone in emails about FP CODE 1. I got an email once my FP code 1 was sent back by the FBI to them..saying "YOUR Fingerprints were received and processing has resumed on your case."...etc like that. As lazer said before, This was the USCIS to do show and tell..A dog and pony show for the lawsuit. The point was that "We Are processing these cases oh Dear Judge so Please dont hurt us."

When the Lawsuit got approved and then the cap was lifted, the processing for asylees changed from "Ok do it now" to "ok now what can they do?"...The judge is supposed to review the numbers in February to see if USCIS has met their promise. By approving, some of 2002 cases, some of 2000 cases and some of 2001 cases..they can say OK we are doing our job.

The fact of the lawsuit where they even promised to create an email address for asylees to inquire about the case status, hasn't happened yet. I am sure that will be put up 1 day before the judge reviews the case.

Point is. Pessmistic or Optomistic...USCIS is playin games with asylees. Those who got their GC, I would recommend them to drink one for me too but those who are stuck waiting..well They can't help it.

In general, everything sent to USCIS should get a response from them. From FP CODE 1 to RFI TO RFE to CODE 2 to send-me-a-pic-of-u-without-the-mustache to anything else...should get updates from USCIS for applicants...Thats not happening..It will not happen.

So I suggest you grin and bare it. But also make sure you keep everything you have done for the USCIS. One of my H1 friends got a "intent to deny" because they said he didn't show up for a CODE 1...well He did show up and he did do them...I guess someone missed something there..He sent the photocopy of the Biometrics processing completed receipt and he is ok..

No lazer I think they have stopped doing updates all together for COde 1. Because when you go the ASC, they scan your receipt and your "record" is opened by the officer who is about to do the Code 1...that update used to get updated prevously..I mean i remember my LUD changed the day of my FP but it didn't this time...same for BIO...SO i dont know whats happening

missed finger prints
