Thanks! Immune. I followed this thread for a long time. I know it is a very frustrating waiting for our NIW applicants. I truly hope your guys get approvals soon.

I have not posted any news for a long time. I siad last time it will need 3 years to get NIW approved. It seems I am wrong. Online statement said today my case has been approved and approve notice was mailed to me today. It is unexpected, but is beliveable. Everybody's case under NIW should get approved. Good luck, guys.

My I140 ND is 08/20/02, LUD is 06/15/04, up to now, nothing has happened.
 
What is LUD?

I do not what LUD is. I did not change anything after filling application.

The LUD changed on July 22 but with the same message as before, like "... received on.....". On the morning of July 23, I received a message from USCIS, telling me that my case was approved on July 22. On-line message was also changed and LUD changed to July 23.

Somewhat off the topic

This is somewhat off the topic :p

As in the list, I filed EB2-NIW with concurrent I140-485 Oct, 2003. I now have a job opportunity in another country (for 3 years). I wonder if anyone has experience on whether or not (and how) I can keep my green card application.

I consulted my lawyer and he said as long as I can have a US company (any company) to write a letter to say they are willing to hire me at any time, for the job description that matches my case, i should be fine. Let's call it route 1.

Additionally, a US company already agreed to put me on their payroll for the period of time when I will work in another country (the foreign company will form a collaboration with the US company, but I will be an employee of the US company). Let's call it route 2.

It seems to me that route 2 is pretty safe, in terms of keeping GC application. BUt I hesitate to go through route 2, given some uncertainty with the US company (I doubt they can keep doing that for 3 years, for financial reasons).

Is route 1 a feasible one?
Any other option?

Hi, meiou, did you get any information about your I140? Your I140 was submitted ahead of me? Seeing so many people who submitted after us already got approved, really feel bad
