There are two approvals posted under the National Interest Waiver forum. One has a ND of 7/17/02, and the other is 7/19/02. So, they ARE working with July/2002 cases now. Hopefully, my case will be cleared soon (Before May ?)

Just checked online, and found out a RFE has been sent out for my case (yeah, after waiting for about 21 months). Not sure what they are asking for. Will update once RFEis received.

NIW is "National Interest Waiver" Basically under this category you dont need to have someone sponsor you. You can directly file I-140 and I-485 showing that your work is in the national interest. It has gone very hard over the past two years to qualify for NIW. One need to be very well recognised in his/her field, lots of publications,citations etc are required.

EB2-is when job requires you to have minimum an advance degree

EB3 is when the job requires you to have min a bachelor degree

Nothing to update. Received 2nd EAD. Still waiting on AP. No word on I-140.

BTW, I applied for my AP early February, thinking I would leave myself ample time to receive it so as to be a presented/speaker at a scientific presentation in the U.K. in the first week of June.

I now suspect my introduction will be, "Our next speaker is unable to attend because the U.S. Immigration Service ran out of the appropriate paper for his travel documents last year. They eventually printed some more paper, but didn't catch up with the applications."

30-60 days my *^%$^!!!
