Newly US citizen!!

Hi all,
I got naturalized yesterday, i'm finally a US citizen, pheww...the journey is over!
I wish all the best to all of you:)

I went in around 11:45 with my oath letter, i was checked in by a person sitting at the front desk, he checked that i've got all the questions answered and he sent me to another person from the immigration who took my GC and checked the oath letter again and signed it, he then sent me to another table where 3 people from the DHS are sitting, one of them checked my ID, made sure i was on the list and then i was seated with the rest of the people and i was given 2 booklets and a small American flag:)
Around 1:30 they gave us a little orientation on how the ceremony will go then about 2:00 The judge came in and asked the officer to call each country by name and when we all stood we were sworn in. They asked 3 people to give a small speech and we sang the Star spangled banner:), they handed out the certificates of naturalization then the judge gave everyone the opportunity to take pictures:) We were done around 3:30
It was incredible, everyone was extremely excited, it was a very special day in my life!

It was back in June 19th, it was very simple, it lasted about 15 minutes.
The officer asked to see my GC and he started going over the whole application and asked me questions, he had a sheet of paper and started to ask me some civic and US history questions (can't remember now) then he went to talk to his supervisor and came back with a "recommended for approval" letter, he congratulated me and told me to wait for the oath letter in the mail.
It was pretty straight forward and pleasant interview!

Hi guys. This is my first message here. I need your advice. I'm colombian, and I want to go on vacation to my country. I have Asylee status, but I don't have my GC yet; however, I have my Refugee Travel Document. Do you think, guys, that I should visit my country using this document????

I'd like to read EVERYTHING you think about it.

Fishy... Fishy.... You are not even a green card holder and want to go back to the country that prosecuted you or your family member??? Fishy...
