Somerset county and interviews in Newark

Does Somerset county belong to Newark or Cherry Hill ? Please share your experiences in Newark if you applied for future employment green card ? What documents were you asked to provide and what questions were you asked ?

we had interview today morning. My Green card petition is based on future employment. The officer asked us to take oath and after that asked current salary,employment letter from future company and a copy of degree certificate and then asked us to come next thursday for finger prints, since they were
expired july24th. She said that we should receive approval letters soon once BCIS receives results of finger prints. Total time was about 5 mins. Further she said background check(CIA) is already done.

A few questions:

1/ Did they ask you for salary for both of you or only the main applicant ?
2/ Is your current profession and profession for future employment (GC sponsor) the same or different ?

I assume you have not worked for the sponsoring company yet, right ?

PS. take oath ?

Mine is EB-2. interview letter asked for medical, passport with I-94's. I submitted a new 693 form.

for 1st one they asked salary of main applicant.
for 2nd question my sponsering company is my client so my current and future job description would be same.

Were you ever asked for your past years tax returns ? Have you ever worked before for the sponsoring company before ?

I never worked for the sponsoring company. First I got RFE for tax returns, employment letter and w-2 for the last 2 years and then got transferred to newark.
I got interview letter arround July15th. RFE went to attorney while I received interview letter.
 
Another Newark Transfer

HI All,
My case was transfered August 13 to Newark and Teterboro local office !!!!!!?????

My question is... Are these 2 separate offices or they are the same office?

Here is how the message read:

"On August 13, 2003, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in NEWARK AND TETERBORO, NJ for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in NEWARK AND TETERBORO, NJ will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the NCSC at (800) 375-5283"

Does your message say the same thing?...

I posted a answer for ur question you posted earlier. Check b cis web site. check field offices. You will find where you will be interviewed, depending on your address.
 
I tried twice to post a message regarding my eaperience and failed. I got a message like you have not logged in which I did. I could not bear it any more. So I just post a short message: I got approved as a result of the interview on 8/19/2003. Except passports, I-94, medical exams and employment letter, the officer asked for Tax return for year 2002 and had back all the EADs.

did you change address or employers or was your case just a "random" transfer of an EB1 case.

Another Newark Transfer 08/21

Hi both my case and my wife case have been transferred to Newark on August 21st

We got RFE for medicals on June 12th and answered on June 21st
INS Dr forgot to fill X-ray results
We get it corrected and sent to INS

My wife X-ray has some remarks..we took X-ray again and got a
letter from Pulmanary specialist saying that no active TB

INS dr has filled medical x-ray results as abnormal for my wife
Even we took new x-ray for my wife and got letter from pulmanary specialist still INS dr has filled the form with abnormal x-ray....he says the reason that in first attempt it got with remarks so he filled it like that. We are not sure whether INS has clearly seen letter from pulmanary specialist.
We are thinking this could be one reason for transferring case

We waited for 2 months and called INS CS and asked them to send ALERT to IIO as case is taking more than expected time

after two weeks, they transferred case to NEWARK
Waiting to get interview letter

I am not working for sponsering employer right now.....
(But my friend also was in same situation but approved)

There is no RFEs, we submitted the address change request during the interview.
