I can't get through today
But I checked yesterday they we're processing april 28th
case # 02506755 dot code 310.137-101 certified
case # 02506790 dot code 616.360-026 issued NOF
 
You can call their information line 212-337-2193 and search by employer phone number or case number

( the case numbers are being issued in sequence so we can work out how many cases are being approved on state level and what date they are processing at DOL regional level)

they usually give you 1-2 months to respond before you lose your priority date

so maybe you still have time and they should give you a case number...Find out what really happened!

Well, I was in silent mode and was watching you guys :)

Anway, just a quick suggestion to all the member of this forum.
I notice some members block the NY DOL Phone line for too long and many of us have complained about the NY DOL line is busy or not working

I will suggest please do not block NY DOL line. Check your status and quit ASAP from NY DOL line so that other members should get chance to check their case status.

Well, hang in there. Your comments sounds funny but there is lot of pain/frustration in there too.
Most of us are in the same boat. There are people who have joined this forum who had more than 1 year to go or more...Now they and others are guiding all of us.
We all hope that we get over it successfully. Currently, We all are helpless. So just relax, since right now we cannot do much.
When you think the time has come, try to get ready and prepare yourself for other processing/forms etc so you don't waste much time between labor and I140/I485 filing.

I agree with 2001aug, we will have to sit back and relax but that does not mean that we should not be active in putting our opinion in the forum.

May cases being processed.

When I called 212-337-2184 to check status of my case which was received in regional on 7/7/04, The lady told me they are now processing may cases and asked me to call back in a little more than a month.

This is really a wonderful forum and the updates are what keeps all of us in the loop.

I have my Labor filed in Feb'2002, so I guess I have ways to go...but just out of curosity, do you guys feel that I can expect to get thru my Labor, before the end of this year..? I am thinking of making travel plans and am also in my 7th year of H1-B...

Any inputs will be greatly appreciated and thanks again for all the inputs.
 
In your case to be very frank do not expect that you will have it in this year, i wish you will but the real pic is right now they are doing Sep 2001 and by the time they will come to oct nov it will be Nov 2004 and there we have elections so i feel this won't be this year same as mine i have filed in dec 2001 but am expecting it in early 2005.

Thats the true words i hope i am wrong and will get the labor approved with in this year.

I just checked the AVM and my case has been approved. There was only one case from my company. I have not heard from my lawyer yet. This has been a painful wait and my patience has paid off. I wish good luck to every one else who is in the same boat as me.

Now I will meet you guys in the 140/485 threads. :)

This has been a great group and I really appreciate the pains taken by many people to update the threads and drafted letters to the DOL. I sincerely wish all of you good luck.

My case was received at the Regional on Apr 27. I did not get any queries and my DOT code was 030-162-014. This was certified on Aug 9 2004.

What was your date of filing the Labor in the sate level regional was april 27 and did you got any NOF or RFE in between please advice
