New Visa Bulletin -- Very Disappointing

Something fishy according the following:

Friends,
I would say...please relax my friends....because this whole things looks little fishy to me....because if you look at any of the US embassies in the world they all start with http:// "name of the place".usembassy.gov/.....and the one..... This so called visa bulletin page is directed towards is:

http://usembassy.state.gov/manila/wwwh3227.html

This is pointing to http://usembassy.state.gov/"name of the place"..........
This is highly impossible...........I did couple of tests on the http://usembassy.state.gov website..............

Please you guys try it too………..

Also if you go to the manila US embassy web site from the above mentioned DOS website and than click the immigration VISA PRIORITY DATES....IT TAKES YOU BACK TO THE FOLLWOING:
http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_2616.html

So THE CONCLUSION IS THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG SOMEWHERE AND I WILL WAIT TIL THE WORD IS OFFICIAL OR SOMETHING COMES FROM THE DOS CURRENT BULLETIN WEBSITE.

Corrected link already given by me earlier

Hi All Gurus
I found the link which actually takes you to Manila Web site. No need to go through Netscape/Mozilla/..... It works through IE
Click this link

http://usembassy.state.gov/posts/rp1/wwwhmain.html

Then click Consular and Visa Services. A drop down will appear, select Immigrant Visa Priority Dates
The moment you click it, it will take you to
http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/b...letin_1360.html
Click the Current Bulletin which will show you September 2005 Visa Bulletin still

I hope I am wrong but this indeed looks genuine. There is no reason for someone to come up with these arbritrary dates. It looks sound overall and it does say its the priority dates.

Lets see what the official visa bulletin page eventually shows up as. Fingers and toes crossed.

Looks like it.

I was looking for the source site for phillipines URL and the source site is not same as US embassy site. Instead it takes to a link w3.OrgIs this a prank played on us???

Why is everybody so panicky??

I've seen posts arguing Priority Dates to URL
to the autheticity of the URL, gosh... why so panicky???

FYI, if any URL has the domain .GOV, then it is the
US Government controlled domain.

In a few days, everybody can access the official Visa Bulletin
from the State Department.

So please relax...it is not the end of the world.

You still have a job paying more Crores than what you
get in India or more RMB than in China etc etc.

Please don't be so upset.

What has this got to do with discussing the authenticity of a source with supposedly advance information on something which effects the lives of tens of thousands of people? We are anxious to know if we will make the cut-off date and it really does effect our short term (next 1-2 yrs) goals and planning. If this information is authentic, it is a very disturbing development for us.

You go ahead and make your "crores" and not waste time on this forum.

I think the dates are correct as somebody from this forum emailed chennai consulate regarding Eb-3 retrogression. He got an email that his application cannot be processed as the date have retrogressed to 1998.

Let's see it positively...

Folks,

I'm also one of you caught by the retrogression but I would say one thing. If indeed the dates retrogress to 1998 let's take it positively.. Why because this is atleast a better way get the attention from the Feds to fix the problem and probably get the AC-21 to capture all the visa numbers for the past four years and also get the quota increased.

If the retrogression has moved the dates to only a year or two, who would have a strong point to prove the USCIS to help us? I think whatever happens is for our good and atleast the problem will get fixed once and for all..

Just a positive thought!!!

Update on www.immigration-law.com

Hopefully the official bulletin published by DOS will ease the fears...

09/12/2005: Manila Website Visa Cutoff Date Report - Need Verification

The Manila site cutoff date report is too suspicious at this time that we advise readers not to be too alerted by the Manila site report until details are verified. It is not going to be too long before the official Visa Bulletin will be released by the U.S. Department of State. Additionally, the specific nature and purpose of the Manila site report will be clarified soon. Until that, we advise the readers to ignore the Manila site report.

Guys,,,,
Not to be a pessimistic...
What shown on manila web site might be a correct one..first of all currently they have many pending application and the total number of avilability is only 140k and per country it is less than 10k if every other country's demand is more. Going forward in FY 2007, things might look much more dirty when DOL release the pending labors older than 2001....

Only thing our survival would be AC-21 where they have additional 70K of unused from 2001 to 2004. or increase the annual limit... and that USCIS is getting some pressure from every got dam company in this country.

I allready lost the hope of getting the GC in near future. The worst thing would be when our kids grow-up more than 18 year, we might re-apply under family based immigration as Parents...
and god knows we will be there by that time...

If someone is interested - you can call them directly:

Calls within the Philippines, via PLDT: Tel. No. 1-909-101-7878
Callers in the USA can also contact the Call Center at 1-888-877-9888. There is a fee assessed to callers by the call center for its services.

Why don't we adopt a kid at 17 and get sponsored in a year ?
May be we have to sponsor $20K for his education, = paying money to NJ company.
:p

I second eternal_labor

I just echo what eternal_labor recommends.
These dates on the manila website don't look correct. We need to wait for the correct bulletin.

Quick question on various VISA numbers

Are there a set of numbers for regular cases and another set of numbers for AC 21 cases? If so is there a separate cut off date for both of these numbers?

I emailed chennai consulate yesterday here is the reply so calm down. The dates on manila websites are wrong.

It is current.
