New Visa Bulletin -- Very Disappointing

I too had an issue with my IE, then I opened that link with my Firefox browser.This is the list from that site.

Visa Interview Appointments



The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) sends approved petitions to the State Department’s National Visa Center (NVC) where cases are held until an immigrant visa number is available. When the priority date of a visa petition is about to become current for processing, NVC will provide all the necessary information and application forms to start the immigrant visa application process.

NVC assigns a visa interview appointment once an applicant is documentarily qualified and forwards the case file to the Embassy in Manila for the applicant to complete the application process.

The following is a list of Immigrant and Fiance(e) visa cases that have been scheduled for a visa interview. Click here and check for your case number ( Acrobat Reader is needed to download). Press Control F and type your case number. If you have an interview date but no time is indicated on your appointment letter, you should plan to appear at the Embassy at 7:30 a.m. on the date of your appointment.

If you failed to show on your scheduled appointment, please contact us to reschedule your appointment.

The charts below list the cutoff dates for a particular month. Visa numbers are available only for applicants whose priority date is earlier than the cutoff date listed below. “C” means current, i.e., visa numbers are available for all qualified applicants, and “U” means unavailable.

Do you/anybody has link fixed. I tried calling 202-663-1541. The recording still talks about September Visa bulletin. How did you guys found out

EB3 moved back to 1998 for India
EB2 moved back to 1999 for India.

It clearly mentions it is for September 2005. Where did you find visa bulletin for October. If you have correct link, post the link
 
that link is definitely for family based immigration

it coinsides with family based immigration...for sept visa bulletin.

It looks fishy to me: the charts look very unprofessional, order of category is inconsistant between two months and why CHIN is left out in Sept 2005 chart?

I do agree.

I went to Manila Web site and navigated to the link. It is pointing to Travel.state.gov

Guys/Gals, If you know what u are doing please post. If not keep quite and watch. There are lot of innocent folks over in this forum keeping thier fingers crossed. Just dont post crap if you are not familiar with Immigration. You will be spoiling time lot of people.

the visa bulletin indicate e1, e2 and so on not eb1, eb2 and eb3
E1 category is treaty visa

Eb1 is employment based

I wish it is crap.I've gone through manila website.

On left side submenu under "Applying For An Immigrant Visa", click on
"VIsa Interview Appointments" which takes you to the link originally posted.
Somehow this link doesn't work on Internet Explorer.I used Mozilla Firefox to open that page.It clearly says "Visa Cutout dates for October 2005". They even gave the dates for September 2005 which you can compare.

This website was updated on September 9th.

As far as I understand, this is an official goverment site. If it is crap, why on earth would they post it? Who would risk doing this? I'm confused. :confused:

who ever put this link on line is crap. visa bulliten for october 2005 is not out yet. no one has to go through this link, just go through official gov. web site.
may be by monday or tuesday there will be new visa bulliten for oct. 2005.

Those are dates for schedling interviews for the month of October. They are not priority dates. They have to set the interviews in advance for that take possible wrost dates.

this is official website, but it is not visa bulletin for oct. 2005. these are interview dates for people who applied in manila(phillipine). it has nothing to do with I-485 application. so dont worry & wait for real visa bulletin for oct. 2005.
