New us citizen wants to apply for green card to parents

They are in India now so the first step is to file an I-130 for each one of them.

As immediate relatives, the visas are legally "immediately available" BUT there is a processing queue that they must get through. The immigration process has many other steps, medical exams, your financial obligations, possibly co-sponsors, police clearances for mom and dad, filing for the immigrant visa after the petition is approved, coming up with documentary evidence.

#1-File I-130's with USCIS with evidence of relationship. Your birth certificate showing mom and dad's names. Their marriage certificate. Their birth certificates. If you are a daughter and have a new married name, your marriage certificate. Your proof of citizenship (natz cert. or passport)---regular black and white copies only need to be submitted, if they want originals they can ask for them later.

As the process continues, you may have more specific questions later, deal with them as they present themselves. Don't let it overwhelm you all at once from the beginning.
