New TN VISA

Hi, I am a Canadian citizen, living in US on a H4 Visa. I recently got a job offer. My employer needs me to join asap. So he is suggesting to go to the border and get the stamping done for TN VISA. I don't know driving and due to covid, Govt. has shut down the shuttle services on Detroit - Windsor route . Can you please suggest best way to get the stamping done?

Taxi to the border, walk across, walk back, get TN, taxi back.

Thanks for the reply. But detroit Windsor, doesnot have any walking option. can you suggest which border is open for crossing by walk.

Niagara falls, Where are you located? The taxi may be able to drive you back and forth.

I am from Chicago.. do they let pedestrians cross US to Canada and back to US now a days?

At Niagara falls, yes. And any small border crossing. You have to be eligible to cross (ie. Cdn)

Have you received the TN visa? Have you had some problems regarding the different "dual-intent" conditions (TN does not allow dual intent, but an H4, yes)
