Hi,

Could people post only RFE received here. Looks like we are getting a lot of RFE received. If theres already a thread like this then my apologies, please do point me to that thread.

Details:

WAC: 02-033-5****
Location: Bay Areaa, CA

RFE Received: Nov 27.
Online Status Changed: Nov 21.
Docs Needed:
* Last 3 yrs W2
* Last 3 Yrs tax returns
* EVL stating job description and salary.
* 4 Most recent paystubs. (lawyer suggested that I send a few paystubs of the previous employer)
* Will also be providing a photocopy of the AC 21 letter filed earlier this year. With paystubs from new employer.


Other:
* Received 2nd FP notice before the first expired on Oct 22, it was dated Oct 16th.
* AC21 case with 2.5 months between jobs.
* Will have address change starting Nov17 '03
* India trip using AP, mid nov to mid dec 03.

My Attorney has received the I-485 RFE
(Online status changed on 10/16/2003,
Document received on 10/28/2003)

Myself:
1. Most recent 4 paychecks
2. Last three years W2
3. 2000, 2001 Tax returns
4. Employment verification letter from employer

My Wife:
Medical documents. (She was pregnant at the time of I-485
submission; we did submit partial medical documents only. We
are expecting this RFE, anyways.)

Keep posted as if any progress.....!

I just checked the BCIS website that message has change to
"On Oct 25, 2003, we mailed a notice to you requesting additional information......."

My GOD, I can not believe it.

One more question, I just got married last week in Vegas.

My lawyer say that as long as my marriage date is before the actual aproval date, it is ok for my wife to get approved as dependent. However I have not even submitted her case to BCIS.

Any comment or suggestion are very welcomed, esp from those with similar experience of adding spouce at such a late stage.

Some news from me
I know I said I wont post on this forum as some people were angry with me for non movement during October. I only conveyed what I heard to the best of my ability.

Anyway wanted to convey I am travelling to India using AP/EAD for a short visit next week . Also the online status for my case says RFE sent

RFE was issued to me on 10/30, as per website. My Attorney is yet to receive the notice.

No 2nd FP notice yet.

Earlier, My Attorney had faxed 3 enquiries and received return fax that BCIS has assigned my case to an officer. 2 days later, RFE was issued.

I just checked my I-485 status on line and it says:

"On October 30, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

Hope this is a good news.

Just to follow-up my previous posting: RFE arrived to lawyer office last Wed (Nov. 5); it's for paystubs (3), W2 (2), and EVL. Have provided all stuff to layer and hope he replies early next week.

RFE received couple of weeks ago (details at:

My lawyer replied last Friday. Today status changed to:

"On November 10, 2003, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 660 and 660 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case."

I gave my fingerprints on 6th Nov. The status has changed today to RFE sent on Nov 12th.
It is still saying 660 to 660 days for my spouse.

Hope the same RFE is valid for the spouse too.
Does anyone have any idea ?
