New processing times posted

This must be some kind of joke - they have updated the processing times sheet as of February 23rd, 2005 - with absolutely NO CHANGE on any applications. At least not for I-765, I-131 and I-485 - these have not changed for sure.

Guys. I think they will be delaying the process as much as they will be able to. I suppose to get my GC in 2012 but I think I'll get no earlier that 2016-2017. The proccessing dates for certain applications are not valid. Again, this is just my opinion.

On www.uscis.gov. I am not hallucinating, trust me. It clearly says "Posted February 23, 2005" and last time it was posted on Feb 10. Moreover, the dates on CSC report are moved, but NSC shows exactly the same as if they were doing NOTHING for past 13 days.

Anyway. I still expect to see a move in the next report despite ayyubov's opinion. As you may see from some postings here, people get RFEs with RD of May 2000. There is definitely a change and sooner or later INS will be forced to reflect that in their reports.

I said report is updated as of February 23rd, I did not say "the processing date for I-485 applications has moved to this date".

Did you read my post in the first place? That's exactly what I meant - the processing dates have not changed (I-485 still at Dec 18, 1999), but the report has been "updated" from Feb 10 to Feb 23.

I hope this is clear for you now.

I think they are processing till may 00 right now..One user on this forum had that as his date...go figure! they may not update because they dont want all the calls coming to them??? I am hoping they revise the day(move it till sep 00) in late may as they did last year...?

I concur with wantmygcnow supposition. Hopefully, they would move the cut-off date by June'05 or so.

My ND is Dec 2000 and RD is Jan 2001.

one user had his or her RTD issued for three (3) years also! unless there are a whole bunch of people receiving GCs with May 00 date, great, then and only then we'll have a reason to hope. they are slow, they have always been slow and they are going to be slow.

GreyGost, I don't think it's a good comparison - one is a typo on RTD, and the other one is a fact that at least one officer is looking at I-485s dated as far as May 2000. We are not saying that all officers handling I-485s are at the same point - because it all differs and we don't know for sure - but we also know that the processing date is always a range and we can only know from people's posts on this forum which dates are actually out there being looked at. So, I say it's a pretty good indicator, and I am sure we will see more of it soon.

Yes, but in the settlement they're comitted to approve 18000 this year. so they HAVE to do it.

Those updates are a joke when it comes to I-485 asylee adjustments. I remember when I got approved, they were a few months back and the date didn't get updated for a long time.

Don't worry, it is a good sign that people who applied in early 2000 are getting approved. This is by far a more accurate method of keeping track versus the updates.

Sadly we know that CIS doesn't even go in order when approving GCs.
