New processing dates

It went back to previous month for me too. I'm starting wondering if they are conducting some research by let us to pre-view retrogressed dates and observing our reaction? Hey, maybe they are not so dumb, afterall?

Hmmmm....ever read the book "Flowers for Algernon"?

I just got home from work and checked the dates on my home computer. Still March 15!

All day at work, I saw March 15, with intermittent April 15 moments. At about 5 pm I saw April 15 dates with absolute clarity. Now that I'm back at home, it's all March 15 again. If I stare at the screen long enough, I may see the updates for the next several months.

the dallas Do just moved forward 1 week. All day it has been bouncing back and forward from march to April. These numbers like any other numbers with the USCIS are bogus.

Let's give it a few more days for the April processing update to get posted.

Well, they have been posted, and then unposted, and reposted, and unposted again.

Anyway, in case we lose sight of the new dates for a while, here is a compilation of April 15 updates seen so far during USCIS's "sneak preview." The most interesting thing about this list is that they don't seem to be adhering to "targets" anymore for these timeframes. Each DO has a distinct date.

Atlanta: June 13 (-17)
Baltimore: May 10 (-21)
Charlotte: April 6 (-36)
Dallas: July 7 (+7)
Los Angeles: March 28 (-14)
Newark: June 23 (-7)
New Orleans: April 3 (-35)
New York City: May 28 (-33)
Philadelphia: April 14 (-26)
San Diego: July 04 (+4)
Seattle: June 7 (-23)
Washington DC: January 11 (-34)

Now I really hate this country. This week is their last to send me IL. Next week I'm maxing my credit cards (800k) and I go to Europe. So long guys.

From what I remember of my old country, even its now-defunct Communist government had more order and structure than this joke of an agency known as the USCIS. Truthfully, I've been questioning the overall validity of citizenship conferred by an agency that not only CANNOT get its s--t together (nor does it even attempt to get its s--t together), but keeps slipping further and further into the cesspool of incompetence and mismanagement that it created.

By the way, thrix, credit cards have international reach. Sorry to burst your bubble...

I also see all the updates. I think there will be at least one more retrogression (May 15 update). It seems that the USCIS is trying to create an artificial 13-15 month processing timeframe.

even though baltimore timelines say may 7, 2007, there's a person who applied in january 08, do baltimore, and already has the Interview scheduled for may 3rd. how about that? do we agree the ILs have already been sent for this month and who got them got them? now for the rest of us we continue to hope for may?

Hello people! This is my take on this retrogression. Looks like the dates may be the dates of the current oath takers as Vorpal had once surmised. Washington DC has moved back to Jan 22 and just yesterday there has been an oath for Maryam82 PD 17th Jan 2007 and the ID was 21st April 2008.
In that respect this theory may hold some water.
This leads me to believe that though there may be some instances where the dates may be more conservative, there have also been reports of 1/2 March 2007 filers ( DC) having got their ILs on the 4th of April 2008 for May IDs. That means people should not lose hope as ILS should keep trickling in. This would be more of an exact 13-15 month timeline as they claim.
Of course if wishes were horses..:) Needless to say this situation is exasperating!!:mad::confused::(

Washington DO is in a very big hole. They are still doing early '07 applications. OMG!! just imagine what will happen when they start with the record May thru July application load.

I agree with Vikpal. They really need to pull up. But they have never surprised anyone with any confusing early processing. They don't fail to disappoint and are pretty much very predictable. The tracker kept by koolvik will show that 2007 March beginning filers have already received their ILs.
