New Processing dates from NSC

Thanks for the info!! That's good I guess, but I wonder why there are still ND 2001/2002/2003's that are not approved yet!! I guess this means they can call and complain, now. The people at 800 number can't say "we are still processing 2001s" anymore!!!

Wow Did U Guys Notice ???????????????????

has anybody noticed that new processing dates for " I-485 Based on grant asylum more than 1 year ago " has changed from August 2001 last update to August 2003 ?
What happen here ?
I am ND2001 no good news for me yet  & now they suddenly jumped 2 years ahead

However, it has not changed for Texas Service Center (still Aug 2001). Basically, it used to be or was supposed to be the same as NSC. There could be mistake in either of them.

I think they are trying to clear up the backlog or just ignoring the old ones. Here are the new dates in which the applications will be processed.

The Service is receiving between 25,405– 43,881 applications per year. Consequently, as of April 30, 2006, approximately 112,985 asylee adjustment applications were pending. We anticipate that we will process pending applications according to the following schedule:

Date Received (Mail Date) Timeframe to be Processed
On or before January 1, 2003 September 30, 2006
June 1, 2003-March 31, 2007 September 30, 2007
On or after April 1, 2007 Within 6 months of receipt

I hope they stay on schedule.

Ed
