New Passport, Same GC - do I need to inform anyone?

Hello - I just got my Indian passport renewed and it has a new number. I was wondering if I need to inform USCIS of this change (since my GC is linked to my old passport) and if so, what form do I use? Also, should I be aware of any procedures when leaving or entering the country with this new passport? I will carry my old canceled passport with me just in case. Thanks.

No need to tell anyone, they track you with other information and will connect the dots.

GCs are issued to people, not passports.
