My employer applied for a change of ststus from L2 to H1 which was approved. I am currently in USA and have to go to India for my visa stamping shortly.
I am trying to make an appointment for interview in US Embassy in New Delhi, India. As part of the requirement, when my representative submits my visa fee in HDFC bank in India, they are also required to provide a copy of my passport bio-data page.
When my petition was filed my old passport # X1111111 was used. However, I have recently been issued a NEW passport Y22222222.
1. Please let me know which passport should I be using to book my visa interview and subsequently present at the interview.
2. Also let me know if there is any implication of this in my petition and if this new passport information needs to be relayed to USCIS.
